Art is a Series 7 Registered Representative and a licensed Life & Health Insurance Producer, providing clients with estate planning, investment and insurance services. The guiding principles upon which Art founded our financial services firm were integrity, honesty, confidentiality, professionalism, competency, and the utmost in customer service, all of which remain at the forefront of our business today. In addition to his commitment to his family and profession, Art is passionate about making a difference in his community, as is evidenced by his numerous awards and organizational service recognitions throughout his career. His professional affiliations and accomplishments include, among others, receiving UNIFI's highest honor when he was inducted in the UNIFI Companies Hall of Fame in 2009, Million Dollar Roundtable (MDRT) for 37 years including Court of the Round Table in 1995, National Quality Award for 37 years, presented with the Lester A. Rosen Humanitarian Award by Union Central Life Insurance Company in 1999, awarded the Arthur & Helen Charles Excellence Association Service Award by the Maine Association of Life Underwriters (MALU) in 1997, member of the Advanced Association of Life Underwriters, and has served as the President of the Maine Life Underwriters. Art has also received the J. Putnam Stevens Award from MALU in 1995, served as the President of the Aroostook County Association of Life Underwriters from 1975 to 1976, a past Chairman of the IFAPAC, served as the Chairman of the New England CLU Conference in 1985, and he has taught numerous LUTC courses throughout the years. Art’s past public service awards and commitments include, Aroostook County Musterds Runner of the Year in 2003, board member of the Board of Visitors of the University of Maine at Presque Isle, Executive and Aroostook Fund Committees, Chairman of the Loring Development Authority of Maine Board of Trustees, Founder, board member and Chairman of the Limestone Development Foundation, Founder and Co-Chair of the Aroostook County Tax Seminar for 30 years, Board member of the Aroostook Mental Health Center, President of the Limestone Rotary Club and recipient of a Paul Harris Fellow, Chairman of the Board of the United Way of Aroostook, President of the Limestone Chamber of Commerce, Founder and President of the Limestone Potato Growers, President of the Maine Potato Council, Secretary of the National Potato Council, President of the Maine Jaycees, Life Member of Jaycees International, leadership positions at the Limestone United Methodist Church, board member of the University of Maine Foundation, two-time recipient of Limestone Citizen of the Year award‚ past member of the Maine Community Foundation and its Finance, and Chairman of the Town of Limestone Vision Sub-Committee Group. Art's current service includes Board Member of the Maine School of Science and Mathematics Foundation located in Limestone, Maine. Art and his wife, Fritzie, reside in Limestone, have been married for 56 years, and are the proud parents of their children Barbie, Nancy and Jay, and their four grandchildren, Lindsey, Kylie, Justin and Brandon. Art’s life focuses around his family, and he also enjoys running (including one Boston Marathon and countless road races throughout Maine, including 37 consecutive Fort Fairfield Potato Blossom Festival road races!), fishing, farming, camping, hiking, cross country skiing, activities at the Limestone United Methodist Church, and community service.
