Pam is the longest tenured employee of the firm joining the organization on August 15, 1988 with a very diversified and valued business background.  During Pam’s tenure at Thompson-Hamel, LLC, she has played an integral role within the firm having worn many hats over the years.  Pam’s commitment and passion to assisting our clients in the formulation of well thought out and effective estate plans has been the cornerstone of her tenure at Thompson-Hamel, LLC and is much appreciated by our clients. 

Pam interacts daily with clients and outside advisors expediting services and estate planning details.  Pam also manages various state licensing for life and disability, monitors continuing education credits and requirements, and has acquired the knowledge and education to assist our clients in the areas of financial, retirement, estate planning, and charitable giving.  She works closely with Art to ensure clients meet their planning objectives, and assists Art on insurance product analysis, research and case design.  In addition, she assists Brian and Jay in managing and maintaining qualified retirement plans for our clients. 

Pam holds Bachelor’s Degrees in Accounting and Management from the University of Maine at Machias, graduating Magna Cum Laude. Pam also has earned both Chartered Life Underwriter and Chartered Financial Consultant designations from Bryn Mawr College, and has completed the Professional Mentoring Program through the National Association of Family Wealth Counselors.

Pam resides in Caribou with her husband, Casey, and their daughter, Megan, and enjoys spending time with family and serving her community through her involvement in various community organizations, including the Caribou Rotary Club where she has served in various offices.  She has also received Rotary’s designation as a Paul Harris Fellow.  She is current President of the Jefferson Cary Foundation board and Vice-President of Manes and Tails.  She has been involved with the Maine Community Foundation for over 15 years, and remains involved in various activities and ministries at the Holy Rosary Parish in Caribou.
