Sharon joined the firm on February 1,1989 as the Receptionist/Administrative Assistant.  Sharon has provided all aspects of administrative servicing during her tenure at Thompson-Hamel, LLC, and is currently responsible for processing new life and disability insurance applications, and serves as the facilitator between the firm’s clients, underwriters and medical facilities groups.  She also works closely with other companies that specialize in insuring high risk cases.  She also assists with agent licensing, handles daily inquiries and any administrative matters.

Sharon implemented the Client Management Program system that is instrumental today in keeping accurate and up-to-date client information at our fingertips.  She administers and maintains our client database.  

In addition, Sharon has extensive knowledge of personal computer systems in the business environment.  She has overseen the growth and implementation of the information technology systems and solutions at Thompson-Hamel, LLC.  Sharon's past service as an integral member of the UNIFI Companies’ (UNIFI) ten-person Field Advisory Service Team, provided valuable input and feedback on UNIFI’s website improvements and service related issues in all areas of UNIFI’s operations.  Sharon’s work ethic, organizational and system skills, along with her devotion and professionalism are demonstrated in her daily interaction with clients, advisors and peers, and have not only contributed to the success of the company, but have been instrumental in the servicing and retention of our client base.

Sharon’s hobbies include biking, gardening, cross country skiing, snow shoeing, cooking and reading.  She is a past Board Member of the Central Aroostook Humane Society, and a past member of the local MS Support Chapter.

She currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Halfway Home Pet Rescue organization located in Caribou, Chairs the Future Building Committte and Shelter Activities Scrapbook, and held past offices of Secretary and Memorial Chair.  Sharon resides in Fort Fairfield with her husband, Scott, and their two cats Emma & Mr. T.
